Character Commission

Payment Method:

All commissions over $50 will be paid in two payments, via paypal or Ko-fi, the first before work begins, the second upon completion of the work. You can request a proof of work sketch before making the first payment, but no additional work will be done until I've received 50% of the agreed upon price. Commissions of $50 and less will be paid in a single payment, after you receive a proof of work file

Proof of work and progress updates:

Throughout the process I will update you with sketches, line art, flat color, and any other stage you request. All updates and proof of work provided will have a watermark. 

You will receive a watermark free version of the final piece AFTER I have received full payment at the agreed upon price.

Changes and modifications:

During the process you can make up to 5 minor changes and 2 major changes without an increase in price. Any changes beyond these allotments will result in a 25% increase on the total price.

Minor changes include things such as changing colors at the line art or flat color stage, slight changes in position or expression on a single character, or changes to the type of background (basic forest scene changed to a cliffside).

Major changes include color changes at the full color/texture/shading stage, significant changes in character pose, outfit, or expression past the line art stage, or any additional characters, creatures, or detailed objects.

Decisions on what counts as a major or minor change will be made at my discretion. 

Terms of use

I reserve the right to utilize all artwork for self-promotion, and, where appropriate, in other digital sales. For Exclusive rights to the artwork (for commercial or personal use), a different price scheme will be negotiated. You, as the client have the right to display the images for personal use as you see fit, but do not, unless previously agreed to, have the right to use the art for financial gain.
